What It's All About

Each month Purgatory Ironworks presents a challenge to the forum members to create a piece of work to be voted on by forum members.

You could be asked to make a simple s-hook or use a railroad spike to make something else. You could be asked to be creative with a piece of rebar, work something cold, or create a dinner bell.

Your suggestions for projects are Always Welcome.


The  idea of "Weird" Iron is to create or display the project in a "weird way".This

is where your creativity and skills can pay off.


We ask that when you vote on a submitted project, that you consider the skill

used and the "weird" design, use or display of the project.


The prize for winning is a $20 credit in The Purgatory Ironworks Store or used for Membership Fees.


We are starting a new points system for the Weird Iron Contest:
1st Place - 4 Points,
2nd Place - 3 Points,
3rd Place - 2 Points,
All Other Entries - 1 Point.

At the end of the year the points leader will receive a prize made by Trent.


This is a contest  where ALL paying and non paying members are welcome.


You must be Registered with Purgatory Ironworks Free Fourm.

Weird Iron Rules



The  idea of "Weird Iron" is to create or display the project in a "Weird Way", to promote creative thinking and learn new techniques, in a fun way.

 
The challenge will change each month.

The challenge will be posted for 2 weeks. A closing date will be posted at this time.

A post will be made for you to post your entry.
Your entry should have a name of the project, photo's or video, and a short description of your project.

A poll will be posted for voting for 1 week.

The winner will be announced on the forum.

The prize for winning a monthly contest is a $20 credit in The Purgatory Ironworks Store.
